TWU Delegates' conference 2019

Updated: Sep 2, 2019

The Driving Health online survey was kicked off at this years' TWU NSW Delegates' conference with Dr Ting Xia and Dr Caryn van Vreden representing the Driving Health team. We were welcomed by the amazing NSW TWU team who gave us the opportunity to speak to the delegates and introduce the Driving Health study and survey.

The highlight of the conference was certainly getting the chance to sit down and chat to the people working in the transport community and getting a first-hand picture of the hardships they face in their working life. However, it's not all bad news, as we learnt that driving and transport workers have a strong community of men and women supporting them in their work and life. Their employers, co-workers and unions are extremely motivated to become involved and help improve the health of drivers by participating and supporting

the Driving Health project and promoting the survey!
